To get a realistic idea of what size solar array you might need for your house or operation, take a look at your past electric bills. Your power company’s monthly billing statement should include your total Kilowatt-hour consumption for the month and year. Compare these numbers to what a 25 KW solar system can produce. Average production in the Midwest for a 25KW system is 3,200 KWH per month, or 38,200 KWH annually.
